Why create Best Bits and Bobs

Over the years I have created websites for people, updated their CMS packages, undertaken PC repairs and fixed bugs and malware attacks on numerous PCs. Alot of these have been done for free as I have an interest in the IT world and really don’t feel its right to charge for what in some cases is a relatively easy job and not very time consuming. But it came to a point a few months ago when people started to take advantages of my good nature and then my sister who blogs over at Curlyandcandid.co.uk gave me the idea of putting  my expertise to good use and putting solutions and guides in a blog (like the MS removal tool post here ).

Now using WordPress was new to me as I have used far more complex CMS tools like PHP Nuke, Joomla and vBulletin but it was so easy it made writing and creating this blog simple. The idea is now to try to help solve those minor irritations that people come across with their PCs, do reviews for products and mix it with a few general posts like this to give it a bit of a personal touch.

The blog has been going for a couple of months now and I must thank my sister for a few pointers along the way but I am pleased with the way its gone so far. I’m just looking to take that next step now and take the blog a bit further and review more products if possible (one to be done next week for a docking station).

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas that would help me to make the blog better please get in touch or if you would like to do a post for Best Bits and Bobs it would be appreciated also.
